Riskwest is a specialist management consulting firm providing advisory services in risk management and business continuity to a broad range of corporate, government and community service organisations in Australia and across Asia. It commenced as a partnership in December 2012 with the amalgamation of four independent consulting practices.

Sandra Hackett

Sandra Hackett has more than 25 years’ experience advising organisations across the public and private sectors on strategy, governance, enterprise risk and major project assurance. She has worked with government agencies, infrastructure owners, industrial organisations and community service providers, delivering strategic risk advice, governance frameworks, board facilitation and decision support for some of Western Australia’s most significant infrastructure projects.

With a foundation in chemical and control systems engineering, Sandra brings a combination of systems thinking, analytical rigour and board-level governance experience. Sandra has advised boards and executive teams throughout her career and has served as a non-executive director for more than 20 years. She is recognised for helping boards and executive teams navigate complexity, strengthen governance, improve strategic decision-making and manage risk in highly regulated and rapidly evolving environments. Sandra holds a Master of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Kenny Seow

Kenny Seow is a Partner at Riskwest with over 30 years’ international experience in business continuity, crisis management, disaster recovery and organisational resilience. He has worked across banking, government, healthcare, logistics and community services, including as Regional Head of Business Continuity Management for a major global investment bank across 16 countries in Asia Pacific.

Kenny has consulted extensively to corporate and government clients, including advisory work across the Western Australian, New South Wales and Victorian public sectors. He authored the WA Government’s BCM Guidelines and developed the Business Continuity Institute’s (BCI) Incident Response and Crisis Management training course. Kenny is an ISO 22301 Lead Auditor, Member of BCI, recipient of the BCI Australasia and Global Continuity and Resilience Consultant of the Year Awards, and a volunteer with the WA State Emergency Service.

Mark Humphreys

Mark Humphreys is a senior risk, insurance and governance adviser with experience spanning the City of London’s insurance market, corporate entities, Australian public sector, and community service organisations. As Partner at Riskwest, Mark advises Boards, executives and senior management on strategic, operational, project, procurement, contract, insurable risk and business continuity matters. His background includes a consulting role with RiskCover (the Insurance Commission of Western Australia), and senior risk roles at the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority and QBE Insurance Europe, giving him strong practical insight into risk financing, liability exposure, assurance and broader risk management and organisational resilience. Mark is a Graduate of the AICD Directors Course, an RMIA Certified Practicing Risk Manager, ANZIIF Fellow and Certified Insurance Professional, and a government-appointed Gateway Reviewer for High Value/High Risk projects in multiple jurisdictions. He is valued for bringing independent judgement, practical structure and clear facilitation to complex risk, governance and decision-making challenges.
